The concept of KCG’s Freelance Practitioner Network

Here at KCG we get lots of requests for short term help with AR program management – driven by maternity leave, rapid up ticks in project volume, difficulty finding a permanent replacement and other such challenges. We are building a small but growing network of people that we know that are capable of helping with this type of short term challenge – usually 2-12 month timescales. Our biggest input here at KCG is that we can bring some kind of standard to this form of contract or project based work – which KCG does not perform.

The KCG Freelance Practitioner Network ties both ends of this value equation together.

The basic requirement for participation in this program is successful completion of our Working with the Analysts seminar program and passing the Certified Industry Analyst Relations Practitioner examination. Our aim is to allow Technology Vendors to bring in trusted individuals who use the core KCG methodology of Target – Plan – Execute to build or continue smart program development and execution. It is tough enough to fill the temporal “gaps” in AR program management without the added risk of bringing in the wrong candidate and creating a false start situation.
